First impressions

Most clients contact me via phone call, text, email, or social media, with a brief description of the intended project. To best serve my clients this is a fundamental step towards understanding your goals and aspirations.

Meeting

This step is where we can establish the scope of work and determine if we are a good fit for each other. I believe in win-win relationships for both client and photographer. This is a critical time to establish what your needs are and gives me insight into preparing an accurate proposal. During these highly technological times, we can coordinate via many avenues (phone calls, email, or online meetings) and will always fancy an in-person meeting.

Shot list

You can think of this as a punch list. A shot list will help establish the amount of time and preparation needed to complete the desired project. This can be as complicated as a floor plan with detailed insights into the project, to small matters highlighting the intended purpose. The more details the better!

While not always necessary for each project. This is a vital step for large-scale projects. A quick site visit can help to determine the length of time needed to capture images while they look their best.

Site Visit

Most shoots require a day or more to ensure that the images get the royal treatment. Arriving early to harness the soft light and favorable weather conditions and staying later for that beautiful golden hour and blue hour light will put the images of your project over the top. People can bring an incredible amount of life into an image by adding the human scale to any project.

Shoot Day or Days

Larger issues can be resolved from a successful site visit and eliminate wasted time. Meaning you get better photos on a quicker timeline. Some projects do require a great deal of complicated retouching. This could range from blemish removal, deleting distracting objects in the background, or changing the colors of elements. Depending on the size of your project, a standard two-week turnaround time is implemented after the shoot day.
